Updates 4/7/08 Well, where to start. We just can't thank everyone enough, from our guest, to the dealers to the fans who took time to make the show a success! From what we can tell everyone had good or productive time, and the convention looked great for a first year. We'd like to add a special thanks(in no special order) to Russel Lissau, Josh Elder, Sean McKeever (though they kept me up way too late the night before), John Jackson Miller, Tom Nyugen, Christopher Mitten, Jeff Moy, W.C. Carani, Mark Wolfe, Andre Parks, Gordon Purcell, Mark Stegbauer, Chris Samee for making the trip up or over. I cannot say enough about them all. Conventions of this sort don't work without folks like this and we couldn't have asked for a better bunch. Attendees were thrilled to get a chance to chat with y'all, and we can't thank you enough. Hope to see them all again next year. We'd also like to thank all the dealers who took the time to come out. From what we heard y'all did pretty well, and all the pieces are in place for the convention to continue to grow and become more profitable for ya. If it worked out for you, don't forget to tell other dealers next year, so we can continue to grow, and make the convention more profitable next year. And thanks to all the fans that made it to the show. I know it was the first really nice day of the year, but we appreciate you choosing to spend a couple of hours with us inside, basking in the ...um...glorious sunlight of our special guests! Looks like you all found some decent finds at the dealers also. If you guys liked it, please tell all your friends so we can make the convention even bigger and better for y'all next year. Thanks should also be given for helping to raise money for The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. At tthe time of this writing, I don't have a final total, but you can be proud for helping a good cause! Also, we could not have done this without the generous support of our volunteers and sponsors. We'd like to thank Midwest Airlines for the discounts, Rocky Rococo's Pizza and Marcus Theaters for supporting the cause. We also like to thank the numerous volunteers we had. I don't know the names of everyone who put in a hard days work on Sunday, but I'd like to thank Erik Anderson, Greg Streuly (of the reveiw site Thepullbox.com) and Neil Miller for their extensive pre-convention help, especially in drumming up support and spreading the word. I'd like to compliment Neil Miller for his crack driving skills, turning a head on collision with three aimless deer into little more than a wicked, real life carnival ride and thereby saving Josh and the whole convention. Go Racer N! Again, if you had fun, the best thing you can do to keep this going is spread the word! Thanks again (as if I haven't said that enough) for a great first year! See you next year!
